Purpose of the position

  • To bring in new business opportunities that supports steady and long-term growth for the company.  
  • To help the company grow by connecting company’s IT & services solutions with actual client’s requirement.

 

Responsibilities & duties

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients to drive company growth. 
  • Research target industries and organizations to understand their technology needs and challenges. 
  • Generate and manage leads through networking, outreach, referrals, and digital platforms. 
  • Establish strategic partnerships with corporates, operators, influencers, and industry communities. 
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. 
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure. 
  • Prepare proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, pricing models, and service agreements. 
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction, acting as a key point of contact. 
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable solutions that add real business value. 
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns, proposals, and sales materials. 
  • Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and project teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with client needs. 
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to project/service delivery teams. 
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and track performance against KPIs. 
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and updates for management. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, data security standards, and client confidentiality requirements. 
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors to support business objectives.

 

Essential skills, abilities & knowledge

  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills (written and spoken). 
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (Networks, OS, Virtualization and Active Directory). 
  • Ability to prepare clear proposals and deliver effective presentations to both technical teams and senior executives. 
  • Capable of explaining complex IT product & services concepts in simple business term. 
  • Good knowledge of industry regulations, security requirements, and compliance standards in sectors like banking, government, telecom, and corporate organizations. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrates a strong can-do attitude. 
  • Eager to learn and grow with the company.

 

Academic & trades qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field (Engineering preferred). 

 

Work experience

  • Minimum 4yr. of experience in IT product or services sales. 
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets. 
  • Experience handling complex sales processes, especially with enterprise clients. 
  • Experience working with government and banking sector is a plus.
