A renowned consulting organization is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our IT team and gain valuable experience in network administration and security. Responsibilities:

• Assist senior network engineers with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment, hardware, and software.
• Participate in network monitoring and troubleshooting, identifying and resolving network issues under guidance.
• Learn and assist with network design, migration, implementation, and deployment tasks.
• Gain experience with network security best practices and assist in maintaining firewalls.
• Provide support for new application integrations and existing system upgrades.
• Participate in network site surveys and document findings as needed.
• Contribute to automating network monitoring tasks.
• Develop strong communication skills by collaborating with senior engineers, clients, and vendors.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, routing, and switching.
• A demonstrated interest in cybersecurity.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to work independently under supervision and as part of a team.
